“Don’t think, just answer: ______ or _______?”
While the question appears vague, you should be talking about something specific.
The lack of context will make him intrigued. The fact that he can answer in a word or two will make it irresistible.
Keep up the intrigue with a quick “Thanks!”
When he asks, “Why?” He is now the one pursuing further conversation.
Examples:
“Don’t think, just answer: beach or mountains?”
“Don’t think, just answer: cute or useful?”
“Don’t think, just answer: red or black?”
