James Bauer’s Texting Tip of the Week
The concept of a workout buddy isn’t a new one. Working out with someone can keep you both more motivated. And consequently improve your health and fitness.
But what happens when you work out with your man?
According to new research, there are many benefits:
- You’ll be “more successful” at exercising
- You’ll feel more positive during exercise
- You’ll feel better throughout the day
- You’ll feel better about your relationship throughout the day
It doesn’t matter how much you exercise on a given day. And absolutely no negative consequences were found.
So, with apologies to Nike… just do it!
James, you are absolutely right!! My husband and I work out together daily. Our exercise styles are very different. We still encourage each other and let each other know how grateful we are that each of us cares enough about ourselves and each other to commit to keeping ourselves healthy. We benefit also, because we just enjoy each other’s company so much! I have also witnessed how positively exercising together has made my son and daughter-in-love’s relationship stronger. ( They have been married 15 years). My daughter and son-in-love have been married 17 years and they exercise together as well. No down side that I can see.
