Hello,
Well, I FINALLY!!!!! Got my bank account working. OMG! What a nightmare! Kept hearing I could open an account on line. Not. Had to make an appointment. Couldn’t just walk in. They set up the account. Then they mailed 4 things – all separately – to the office. Said it would take 5 days. Took 9. Got back to the hotel. Had to use their e-identifier to log into my account. Then took 3 tries to register my phone. Four different verifications. Insane! Now I have to physically go register with Rotterdam. You not only have to have a BSN (SS) number and “green card” for the country, you also have to register with the city you live in. If you move, you have to register in the new city. What an absolute nightmare. Still don’t know if I can sign up for insurance without being registered in Rotterdam. Can FINALLY now get a regular phone plan.Moving into my new apartment tomorrow. Checked in today. Took some stuff up. But no internet set up yet. Had to wait for bank account for that. And I’m hearing it could take up to 2 weeks to get that set up. I might be making friends with the local McDonalds and Starbucks! Everyone over here rides bikes. I will have to get a bike as its less expensive and for shorter distances, faster than taking the bus.
Joined one Meetup group that looks really fun, but she plans long hikes….. like 20 k (12 miles). The shortest one I saw was 10-15 k. But she’s also planning a long weekend to Limburgh (mountain country) and a week in May to some foothills. I may see if I can join them for the weekend.
Had to go into the office today to get my bank stuff. Ooo la la. The gentleman in the print room/mail room is a sweet heart and oh is he cute! No wedding ring, but I’ve learned not to trust that. One of the gentlemen from IT came in while I was there. He’s into photography (night life and people) but still fun to talk photography. Must have talked with the two of them for maybe 10-15 minutes. Marc (cute guy) wrote down several places I should go to see foxes, windmills, flowers, etc. Will have to talk with him more next time I go in.
Gotta get to sleep. Want to get up early and get a few hours of work in before checkout and take advantage of the internet before I go.

RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Thank you. Hopefully will find out tomorrow if the landlord will accept my offer or not. There are children above me and very poor sound insulation. I could hear little feet running around while we were there. I’m sure I’ll hear them crying, but hopefully it won’t be too bad.Been stuck in a tiny (15×15) room all day today. Clouded over and looks like its raining out there, so won’t venture out for a walk this evening. Pretty tough to even do any exercises in this tiny space.
Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantThank you, Heidi,
Do appreciate the prayers! God answered one prayer – got my bank account set up. It will be 3-5 days till I get everything I need to activate it and use it, but it’s all set up, anyway. That’s a relief! The realtor set up two viewings for me today. Renting here is very different than in the States. It’s almost like buying a house. I have to make an offer and if the landlord accepts, its a legal contract I can’t get out of. I liked the first apartment. Huge. It is on the 6th floor of a high rise next to a marina on the river. Very industrial and 1.3 kilometers to the nearest grocery store, so location isn’t the greatest. The second apartment is in an ok neighborhood and still nice. Has a nice office space, small balcony, kitchen is small. In Europe, the toilets are separate from the showers. The toilet in this is basically in a closet. VERY tiny. But over all, livable. Both places have a storage space on the ground floor for a bike. Everyone rides bikes over here everywhere. There is a lake with woods within walking distance from the second apartment. It’s about 5k around the lake (path). I was told I can rent a canoe and paddle out on the lake during the summer. There’s also a stables there where I could take riding lessons if I can afford them. I’m totally comfortable in a western saddle so don’t mind taking English lessons as that is sightly different. Grocery store 400 meters, so much closer. I’m making an offer on the second one. I like the first apartment better, but the location of the second one better. Location wins. 🙂 Worley has said I can have an advance from my paycheck to get into the apartment and I’m hoping, if I need to move before the end of the month, the hotel will refund me for the nights I don’t stay.
Plus my boss has said I can work 43-45 hours a week, so that will help as well. So things are starting to look a little better. No guarantees I’ll get into this apartment, but looks like a possibility. And today the air was a bit cleaner, so that was nice.
But I’m tired. Going to the city, whether it be Rotterdam or The Hauge, makes me tired.
Hope your day is going well,
Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantHello, Spyce and Heidi,
Well, I’m doing a little better. Bob (boss) called me this morning. He gave me permission to work 43-45 hours next week. That will definitely help. Have an appointment to open a bank account at the ABN AMRO in Rotterdam at 11 on Monday. I called Jochem (relocation agent) and he wasn’t sure why I was having so many problems. He assured me that I have all the documentation I need to set up an account, so hopefully 3rd time is the charm. It SHOULD go ok. Then I have an apartment viewing at a really cute place only 15 min from the bank at noon. It’s downtown and I’ll have to ask about how quite it is. Tram right in front of the building. Have not heard from Stephanie about any viewings she was going to try to set up for Tuesday. Its clouded over and tomorrow is supposed to be cloudy but only a 12% chance of rain. I just discovered there is a historical windmill about half hour from here so I will run down there with the camera tomorrow. Probably won’t get good pics with the clouds, but who knows. It will be interesting anyway. Looks like there are some nice walks around the area. Wish I had someone to go with, but it will be ok.

RhondaRhonda RParticipantThank you, Spyce,
I have contacted Ken and he wants my resume. I took a nap since I didn’t sleep last night. It’s 8 here. Primera is open with an ING branch. I am going to go talk with them and see if they can offer any more information or assistance. Next I will update my resume and get it off. I will start looking back in Canada and see what happens. I’m developing a really bad taste for Holland. I do love my job and was really looking forward to the work, so that would be disappointing to me. That’s really the reason I came, is its my dream job. We’ll see. Continue praying. At this point, if I were to find a job back home, I’d take it and leave.Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantThanks, Heidi,
I’ve been praying a lot. I THOUGHT this is where God wanted me, but looking back, there were things that may have indicated No, I wasn’t to take this job. I question how well I listened. I’m praying hard, telling God He knows my needs and He’s never failed me in the past and if I’m to stay here, I need a bank account and a place to live ASAP.Yes, I’ve reached out to my immediate boss. He can’t do anything. I’ve reached out to my HR person. She’s some help, but limited in what she can do. I’ve also let Worley know how disappointed I am in the lack of assistance from this company they hired. As an expat relocation agency, he should have know the requirements and hitches and difficulties in setting up a bank account and he’s been of no help at all. I sent him a message and asked him to book me an appointment ASAP. There’s an ING around the corner. I will go talk with them again, but I’m pretty sure they won’t give me an account, but she might let me know where to get a bank check with cash so I can at least still get an apartment. Didn’t sleep at all last night. Was up at 4 and put in 2 hours work already – half hour over what I reported on my time. I’m exhausted. Hope Maartje is working this Friday, but she didn’t work last Friday, so I don’t know.
Thank you for your encouragement.
Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantMoving to the Netherlands is impossible. Went to set up a bank account with ING – wouldn’t accept my paper with my BSN (like our SS number) and wouldn’t accept my signed offer letter from Worley. I was told multiple times I could set up a bank account on line with ABN AMRO once I got my residency card. Not. And I can’t just walk into a branch. I have to have an appointment. And possibly I can’t go to any branch. May have to go the the international branch in The Hague, meaning I may not get in there for another couple weeks. So 2 weeks here and no apartment and no bank account. And I can’t get a phone plan or insurance without a bank account. Anybody told me it would be this difficult I would not have come. And to think…… I could be in my loved mountains in BC if I hadn’t taken this job! WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!???? And I don’t know how to get the money for an apartment without a bank account and if that is going to take 2 weeks……. and I can’t get paid without a Dutch bank account. And I can’t get a bank account! Yikes! I am very much regretting this!
Rhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Thank you. I bookmarked it. LOL. Now, big question….. do they ship to Holland and if so, how much is it going to cost?So base salary is similar, somewhat less, but I don’t have the OT here and I was getting $4000/mo in living out allowances on top of salary. So add 10 hours OT a week, even at flat rate, that adds quite a bit. Plus the LOA and travel allowances…… Bob’s willing to give me as many hours as he can find that are billable, and in a month or so, there will be plenty. But Holland government also regulates how many hours of OT you can work. So I will talk with HR tomorrow and see how many hours OT I can work legally. Also contacting the company that asked me if I wanted to go to BC. With the price of oil going up so high, I expect work in Alberta to really pick up. We’ll see. I may be home sooner than I thought. I budgeted about $1000 EU for rent and $200 EU for utilities and getting over here I’m finding I can’t get anything for under $1400 EU and utilities are climbing and could be closer to $300-$400. I may not be able to stay here. Too bad, as I’m really liking the work. We’ll see.
Yes, have tried binural beats. Always have something relaxing on, mostly rain and thunder and sometimes mixed with chimes, Native American flute or something else. Have tried the 580 htz and some of the other htz frequencies that are supposed to be positive and help me sleep. Very limited results. Do help a little, but not that much. Have tried melatonin. No results. Have tried other things like sleepy time tea, etc. No results. Usually good hard, aerobic exercise helps, but not getting that here yet.
Swamped tonight so gotta go. Tax forms, rental info, Holland tax forms…… house hunting. Tomorrow got to leave at 6 so up by 5:30.
Have an awesome day!

RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Not sleeping again tonight, so….. did get a good sleep last night for the first time in weeks. Still feeling quite stressed.Going to view an apartment tomorrow. Going to new territory so planning on getting there an hour or so early…. just in case I get lost. Have to find a place to put more money on my train card. That is getting VERY expensive!
Won’t be going to The Hague. City has said renters have to have a permit to get housing in my price range and to get the permit you have to make below a certain amount of money. I make more than their limit. Which, while it hurts me, is good they are watching out for their lower income people.
Yes, Joep is the co-worker I was talking with before I left. He’s Dutch ancestry. Haven’t heard from him in a couple days.
Am hiring a real estate agency to help me with housing. The legalities of renting here are much more than renting in Canada and the US. Plus they’ll search and line up viewings for me. Expensive, but does ease my mind. She still wants me to search and send her links to places I find. I sent about 4 tonight. One is really cute in Rotterdam.
Have an appointment to go get my residency card on Thursday. Then I can set up a bank account on line. That will make things much easier. First pay check will be on the 23rd. That will be a huge help. I’ve been bleeding money. This job pays about 50% of what I’m used to making. Don’t know what possessed me to take this. But Bob is great to work for and I do like the job. Pretty much stuck in this little tiny room for now. Once I get an apartment and start seeing some money come in, I’ll start venturing out more.
Yes, contract is for a year. Since I only plan on being here 12-18 months it could be another block in finding a place to rent. Most landlords want over 2 years commitment. Praying hard.
Thank you for that link. I did bookmark it. I’ll also invest in an air filter once I get my apartment.
Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Took a 10-12 k walk today. There’s a river north of here. 4 k to get to the river but you can walk along the levee for miles and miles. Batteries in my camera all died within 5 min. Not sure what was going on with that as I thought they were all fully charged when I left Canada. Didn’t get any pics really worth even editing. Saw lots of swan sitting in fields. Air pollution is HORRENDOUS! Grey/brown haze everywhere. My mouth and throat hurt now. Didn’t bring regular mouth wash so need to go get some Listerine or something similar and some salt. I find gargling with salt water really helps. No decent places to hike in northern Holland. Have to go way south and more east for that. If I were to stay in Dordrecht it would be a 2-3 hour train ride to anywhere decent. But looks like I may end up in The Hague, meaning it would be 4-5 hour train ride to anywhere decent. I love the job but don’t know how long I’ll last.
Joep is kind of staying in touch. He’s so kind and thoughtful and supportive. Big help. Bob (my boss) is from Maastricht. He said he’d like to invite me down to stay with his parents there for a weekend. That would be nice. We’ll see what happens. If I can get an apartment for decent rent, it would help. Should give that a couple weeks.

RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Spyce,
Just turned midnight here, and like the usual, I am up. Working on maybe less than 4 hours sleep a night. Still not getting food. No microwave or fridge here. Went to the coop but no picnic supplies – plastic silverware…… So bought a peanut mix and like a naan pizza. Had a couple handfuls of the peanut mix for lunch and half of one of the naans for dinner tonight. LOL. I have lost some weight. Tightened the belt up a notch…. and that’s a good thing. Am not getting any exercise. Really feeling that. Maybe go for an 11k walk tomorrow. Ha Ha. See if I can get lost. But found out I can download an area of googlemaps and it uses gps so I can use it off line. Worked well this morning. It’s debatable how soon I’ll get out of here. Rentals a extremely difficult to come by and legally much more difficult to rent here. I’m ending up going through an agency, but they’ll do all the house hunting and lining up viewings, etc. Unfortunately they said they didn’t have anything furnished in my price range. Chances of me finding something I like and am comfortable with are slim. Would be a miracle. My boss has been quite helpful in getting me assistance. I asked him today if maybe they would reconsider and let me work from Canada and come over for a week or two every so often. His boss is on vacation, but Bob said he’d talk with him when he got back. I could pay a LITTLE more for rent than what I listed, but not much…… unless they want to give me a raise.
It’s also next to impossible to get a bank account set up here, too. I got my BSN (ss #), but that wasn’t good enough. Had my offer letter, but bank said that wasn’t good enough. Wasn’t considered a contract. So they gave me a form I have to have Worley fill out and double stamp (hope the HR person knows what that’s all about) OR I have to get a double-stamped certificate from the city to prove I’m a resident. ???? So really struggling to get a bank account and find housing. Plus, Worley doesn’t have me in their system yet so no time sheet available to fill out and I couldn’t book a desk at the office…. I’m guessing because I’m not in their system yet. 🙁 I’m planning on going in Monday (HR person is only in the office Monday and Wednesday – works from home the rest of the time, but wasn’t working today 🙁 ) Dunno. It costs me 40 EU (roughly $60 CAD) for round trip on the train to the office, so when I go I want to make it count.
Doing lots of praying. Next week could be a telling week.
Do really enjoy the work and feel I have lots of support here. And that’s one reason I came. Now if everything else can get straightened out……….. I’d be extremely happy if they let me go home to work from Canada, but don’t think that’s going to happen.
NO PLACE to go hiking around here. This is worse than Sarnia for hiking. Tomorrow would just be a walk through the town and maybe through some fields. There is a boat tour on the river just north of here but thinking it might still be a bit chilly for that. Boat is open. Interesting. A FEW of the trees and birds are the same as in North America. Mallards, magpies, starlings….. but there are lots of different birds, too. Daffodils are in bloom and there are a few trees that are in bloom, too. Temperatures have gotten up to the low 50s during the days. Only one day of rain so far and it was cold and wet.
Thanks for the encouragement.

RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Yes, tons of trains and buses. There’s at least 12 tracks in the Rotterdam station. Close to 26 bus spots in Breda. All train stations have tram or bus stations there as well. I’m glad I didn’t get a car. Oh my! Streets are narrow. No stop signs. Traffic circles or nothing at all at intersections. Driving is very different here and really crowded on the main roads. Scare me to death to drive.I think people here are used to foreigners and out of town people. Many times I’ve been looking around, looking lost and someone out of the blue will stop and ask what I’m looking for. The day I moved to Made a girl said she, too, was going to Breda. Made sure I got off the train at the right stop. She headed away when we got off. Then she came back and asked where I was headed (I think she may have seen I was going the wrong way.) She walked with me all the way to my bus stop then went back to hers. Extremely grateful as map directions were very confusing and I would have gone someplace totally wrong. Going into work the other day I had to transfer at Rotterdam. Got off the train and started looking for my next track. A gentleman asked what I was looking for and I told him Track 12 and where I was headed and he walked me to the right place. I was totally lost following MapsMe looking for TMobile. I stopped and was looking around (obviously not where I was supposed to be – outside a mall on an alley street). A kid on his bike stopped and asked what I was looking for. I told him TMobile and he said it was inside the mall and told me where to go. Architecture is totally different. Most town streets are brick and narrow.
I do need to get out of here soon. I’m working from home and this place is not conducive for working. Tiny desk, uncomfortable chair. Long ways and expensive to get into the office. Bad choice. One of the HR people called me on Teams today and recommended a couple real estate agencies Worley works with to help employees, so I contacted both of them tonight. Tomorrow I have an appointment with a bank to get a bank account set up. That will be good. I’m glad a got some Euros before I left, but I didn’t get enough. I’ve lost enough to tighten my belt a notch. Only real meal I’ve had since I got off the plane Saturday morning is what my boss bought me last night. Rest of the time I’ve made my snacks I brought from home last. Basically haven’t eaten.
Bob is wonderful to work for. I knew he would be. He drove up to see me yesterday. Took me from Made to Breda (half hour) to a TMobile shop to get my phone set up. (I had bought a sim card but struggling to get the account set up and my credit put on the account). He also called the trains for me as it looked like they had double charged me for my trip back to Made from Den Haag. It was a glitch in their system and they hadn’t, so that was a relief. Then he took me out to a nice place for dinner and brought me back to the hotel. Called me on Teams a couple times today to see how I was doing. He says he’s always here to assist. And he told me I was especially brought on to be the SmartCompletions expert and they are counting on me to build up the program and show our clients and project managers what it can do. So he’s expecting a lot from me.
Right now he’s got me scoping drawings (marking up the drawings to show the turnover systems) for a project. That manager is swamped and needs help and some of the projects I was to work on are delayed a little. No problem. I enjoy that type of work. Doing some work on standardizing our database builds and check sheets and getting a database template set up. Ha Ha. Had started that a couple years ago working with Bridget in Louisiana so it was basically taking up where I had left off. Also found out a former supervisor from 6 projects ago is on the Qatar Petroleum project, the one I’m doing the scoping for. I messaged him on Teams. Rick is so supportive and said he was very happy to work with me again and said he told Rob, the QP project manager he made a good choice to bring me on. Also gave Bob, my supervisor a good word for me. So that felt good. Once I get my bank account, my residency card (should come in a couple weeks) and a place to stay, then I can settle in and start exploring. Going to be lonely and I’m already feeling very isolated working from home. Will have to find things to do to counter balance that.
And still totally exhausted. Running on 2-4 hours of sleep a night. Its noisy here and I’m still very stressed so not relaxing.
Hope you’re enjoying your day,
Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Thank you. Yes, I made it. I’m also down in my hotel in Made. Was able to (oh shoot! I have to call Expedia for my credit. Better do that tomorrow. Exhausted tonight) change my reservations and take all my luggage to Made on Monday instead of transferring hotels on the 1st, my first day of work. It did work well. Several “angels” helped me through the maze of trains and buses and I’m very grateful! Same with today as I had to go back to The Hauge for my first day of work, then downtown Hauge to the International Center to get my BSN (Dutch social insurance number) and residency. That went smoothly and I navigated the trains and buses back to my hotel on my own. Put in another 3 hours of work this evening. Too funny. Picked up from tasks I was doing a year ago. Very familiar what my boss wanted so was able to get it done quickly.Tomorrow I need to call Expedia for my credit, get my bank account set up. Once I have money in a Dutch bank and don’t have to spend all the extra on exchange fees, I’ll feel better about house hunting and other things.
Hotel here is NOTHING like the States or Canada. A little tiny room with “hardwood” floors, a small TV, single bed, desk and a small closet/shelf unit. Bathroom is tiny. Stinks of mildew. Tiny shower. No counter around the sink. Be glad to get into my own apartment! Lobby and restaurant are very nice, but rooms not so much. It’s an older building and says “Hertog” on the outside, which translates to “duke”. I’m guessing this is a historical building or a heritage building.
Tomorrow I get to work from here. Boss is meeting me here in the afternoon. I think I will take my laptop downstairs and see if I can work out of the restaurant so don’t have to sit in this tiny, stark room.
Yes, all the smoking is really annoying. Not as good here at having designated smoking areas. Pretty much anywhere outside is ok to smoke. 🙁
Hope you’re having a good day.
Smiles,
RhondaRhonda RParticipantHi, Heidi,
Yes, here in Amsterdam in the hotel. Hotel not near as nice as the pics made it look. Out in the middle of nowhere when pics made it look like it was in a plaza. Oh well. Still comfortable and not like the dump in Sudbury. Interior decor here is quite different. More cold and modern and I’ve noticed that in almost all the apartment pics I’ve looked at.Sat next to a gentleman from Ireland on the flight. He’s traveled a lot. Just go to a country and fins work there enough to live on. Been in Norway, Holland, Australia, Canada and was now heading home to Ireland. Talking with him helped relax me. I was surprised. Our arms were touching for part of the trip and I was surprised how calming and comforting it was to feel someone’s touch – even if it was through a blanket and sweatshirt sleeve. Is that silly?
Lost my gloves in the Calgary airport. Had to rearrange my bags as both were over weight and they told me my carry on was too big. I don’t think it was, but wasn’t going to argue with them. $120 for one extra carry on. Highway robbery. I was expecting 25-30, but what do I do? No choice but to pay what they charged. I suspect the girl wasn’t honest and counted my smaller bag as the main one and charged me for over weight for my large one. That’s what I think happened. Think I sent the gloves down to rearrange bags and forgot to pick them up. Makes me sad as they were a Christmas gift from my oldest boy and his wife a couple years ago.
LOL. Got off the plane and decided I might just like it here. LOL. Dutch men are quite good-looking. Ha Ha. And then I figured out that most of them smoke, too. A lot more people smoke here than in Canada. 🙁
Tomorrow I try to figure out the trains and see where I can get a SIM card. Desk clerk said I could go back to the airport and get a sim card there. Will feel much better once I get a bank account set up and have a local bank card. All kinds of extra charges to use my Canadian cards. I’ve been bleeding money for the last 2 weeks so will be really glad to get some income coming in again.
Starved, but looked like the hotel restaurant was closed. Have some snacks. Haven’t been eating much at all for the last week – since I left Ontario. LOL. Maybe I’ll lose a bit of weight. It’s 3:43 here and dusk. I didn’t realize Amsterdam was that far north. I just checked. Its 1.3 degrees north of Calgary.
Smiles,
RhondaGot Skype-to-phone for Canada so have unlimited calling on Skype to any landline or mobile phone in Canada for $3/mo. Will try it out maybe tomorrow. It’s an 8 hour difference to back home. 6 hours with my kids.

RhondaRhonda RParticipantGood morning,
It is gorgeous out. Sunshine. New snow. -5 c (perfect). I am sitting waiting to leave for the airport. Have 1.5 hours before I leave. Would love to go to the Weaselhead for a walk, but my neighbor is now the driver on my car, so I shouldn’t be driving. I’m also scared I’ll get down there and lose track of time. Not quite as nervous as yesterday, but still pretty nervous. Confirmed there is a free shuttle to my hotel from the airport. I’ll have 3 days to recover and explore before having to be to the office. I have Mapsme and downloaded Holland on my phone. Have the NL train app, have directions to the office, address for the municipality and immigration office I have to be to at 2 on March 1. Boss says Netherlands is in no danger from Russia at this point. Been spending my time looking at pics of my hotel, looking up national parks in the Netherlands. Found one that’s about 2 hours from where I’ll be that actually has some hills and lots of pics of snow. No room to take snow pants or boots so may have to get some over there. My phone HOPEFULLY works now. Put it to pre-paid for $100/year to keep my number. Gives me 400 minutes of talking and 400 texts. But also signed up for Skype to phone so I can call any number in Canada for $3/mo. I’ll try it out when I get there, but that’s what my boss says he and his fiance use, and she’s from Canada. I think once I get past the first two weeks and get mu first pay check and bank account set up and get my bank card, I’ll be better. And once I an find an apartment, then I can turn my attention to exploring. I think I’ll get a monthly transit pass that should let me go anywhere any time on the buses and trains. Taking only one large suitcase, one carry on and my laptop backpack. Would like to take more, but that’s all I can handle by myself. The large suitcase will BARELY fit into the large lockers at the train stations. Hopefully I won’t have to take it with me everywhere as I wasn’t very smart. Check out of the hotel in Amsterdam on the 1st, which is the first day I was to be in the office, so will have to take my luggage with me to the office. Not smart at all. Hmmmmmmmm. Wonder if I can change my reservations and check out in Amsterdam on the 28th and into the hotel in Made on the 28th. That would make things a whole lot easier. Will check when I get there.Ha Ha Feel like I’m in a fast flowing river shooting towards a huge, tall, roaring waterfall with no way of avoiding it or getting out of the current. I can’t believe I’m leaving for a totally foreign country in an hour! Yikes! Get me off this train! I’m freaking out! Would feel so much better if I were going with someone and not alone. Have joined a couple meetup groups for over there but so far have not seen any events posted. Not like here where Calgary Nature Lovers and Calgary Christian Singles are posting events 3-4 times a week.
I’m really sad to leave my little house. It is cozy and comfortable and I love my little house. And leaving my kayaks….. :(. While I think it will be a good experience to be over there, it still isn’t me. Part of me will be missing. And financially this isn’t the best job. The one in BC would have been far better financially – as well as being in BC where I’ve always wanted to be. But……… maybe he’ll have something again in a year. Gas prices are soaring so the economy will pick up again.
Smiles,
