I am not sure if this guy I know has been texting qualifies in this topic. S0, he is an attorney and I have been a paralegal for years. I actually worked for his brother (MAL) years ago and interestingly the brother didn’t introduce us, but I know he liked me, because it was obviously. I ended up moving on from his brother’s firm (MAL) and began to work for a friend of his about 30 miles South of the city. I just left there in July 2022 because my boss (LMT) promised a raise and because I was beginning law school in January 2023, which him being a solo practioner would not be able to handle me out of the office twice a week for 4 months. Anyways, the guy, I am going to use initials because this is difficult to keep straight for people that are looking inward. The guy (STL)has been taking my traffic tickets for the last 3 years and an attorney that is getting paid for this has been covering without anything on my part, but it was always understand that he wasn’t charging me for those, anyways, one of the hearings him and I had a text situation because I got the paperwork and I said you need to send someone to do it because I had gotten a bad result and 3 points on my drivers license, can’t have that, so I said I would file the Summary Appeal and told him the date. He ended up agreeing with me and the ticket was dismissed, but general price for these types of cases is 750 flat usually. So, he has lost several hundreds of dollars, but his associates do get the experience. Anyways, a mutual friend of LMT and STL asked me if I had any feelings several years ago for STL and originally I didn’t even think of it, but I am married, however, my soon to be ex-husband (MGM)was in a car accident in May 2021 and he is injured permanently that sex for him was painful, so thus starts the decline of our relationship. Anyways, STL always used to ask when him and I would hang out, and he originally was wanting a FWB, but I said no to that. I am unlike any of the other women that he dates, I am one with intellect, not a stripper or model etc. Although, it was interesting he was the person that I always went to when I had problems with my husband. I am not sure why. I kinda have always kept that part of my life separate from work except him. His parents had a really bad divorce and in the summer of 2021, I came into work one and he scared the crap out of me one morning, because he showed up really early, now he apparently got into a fight with his brother (MAL). So, Matty his brother is older by 6 years he is 48 years old. I never figure Matty to get married, but apparently he was actually dating someone and they were fighting over it. Anyways, he felt the need to vent to me about it, which his brother and I didn’t get along, so I understood. My boss called and needed a ride to the Courthouse, not knowing that he was there, so I said sit tight I will be right back. I came back and we finished that convo, but I was more drawn to him, which we have always had this connection. Anyways, so the mutual friend already has us married, with kids and a house, which apparently she has picked out also. She apparently has been pushing this, however, she thinks that he is not a womanizer, but he is waiting to be satisfied by the correct woman. Also, when my boss (LMT) had a party in June 2021, STL texted me for info on where to go for this event, although he beat me there and left before I got there. Anyways, STL was the first person I texted when my marriage blew up. So, he was aware immediately but I didn’t originally see it that way, because I figured we would work things out meaning my husband and I. That didn’t work and STL and started texting he finally said let just see where this goes. He apparently had a meeting with the Coroner and they met at Bob Evans, the mutual friend of ours, JAK happened to be there as well and he thought that I sent her to spy on him, but I was like no I didn’t anyways he wasn’t buying it which was upsetting me and he was pushing me away even more than normal, so I said that I was outside the office and for him to open it, which he did and he was cranky and ushered me out quickly because I think he was having fun with himself and I interrupted him. Anyways, that started the texting between us, I told him 5 days before Xmas that I needed his advice on something and he said ok well you can come over on Thursday after my xmas party and he wasn’t bothering too much that day, but he was receiving photos that I sent because I had my hair different and a dress on that day. I called him when I was on my way home and he said that his assistant was still there and I was like I don’t care she can here. I came and asked for my advice and then as I was leaving he was like what’s the matter I remembered just walking out and he finally calls like 10 minutes later and wants to see me. He sent me a text that said that I was looking good, because I never wear dresses or my hair down, I am very typical when I am working. Anyways, we had sex that night and I know that I needed to get divorced still, but I was just waiting for the holidays. I filed for divorce in January right after New Years. I bcc a copy of the email to him, so he could see. He kept admitting he didn’t want anything serious and I thought maybe because he didn’t have the time, which I told him he needs to set boundaries and he used it back at me for a deal we made. We agreed that we would go to Social Events and because I know alot of lawyers, that I would introduce him to them. It would be good for both of us. There is a dinner on Monday, February 20, that I wanted to go too that he is organizing as the Solicitor of the Prothonotary’s office. I have at this point stopped texting him and have informed him that I am not going to continue this with him unless he makes a commitment, but I informed him that I got him a gift and it wasn’t for valentine’s day, it was because I thought well he has done alot for me especially with all my tickets and sometimes even defending me to LMT. I also have stepped up my game with ensuring my nails and hair and makeup etc are perfected. Do I just have to sit tight and relax? or is this just hopeless?
