I want to be happy! How can I break free from this hold that he has on me? yes, I do truly love him I’m all he has left all of our children have turned their back on him. I look at him and see this shell of a man. My heart breaks for him to see him in this much pain. but I do know that I have to think of myself. my mental health has not been the best through this. i just don’t know how to walk away.
Besides being a member here i have also joined another coaching site and it calls for his participation as well. I have completed 2 courses so far and he hasnt even done one. they are simple. starting from what we first noticed about one another, to teaching gratitude, things like that. i have asked him to do this. his response is ” i dont like people knowing my business” i have expressed to him that we need help. if he really wants to work on this relationship then thats what we need. I talk to a Therapists, and she says he is narcissistic. and actually he is. very self absorbed, everything is my fault, calls me crazy etc.. at this point im not even sure that it is even worth fighting for anymore. no matter how much i love him.
