I want to add more information. He tried to break up with me before as well, but then he backed down and told me that he would work toward committing to me. Then I had to leave the country (currently out of the country now) for about 2.5 months. After I left for 2 weeks, he decided to break up with me. I can’t say this one for sure, but I knew that he didn’t want to break up with me, but he had to so he doesn’t hurt me more than he already has. That’s why I feel so unsatisfied, I know he deeply cares about me and wants to be with me, but he can’t right now. But again, I can’t say that with 100% certainty, since I haven’t spoken to him since the breakup. Like I said in the post I want to take time for him and me to grow separately. I’m just anxious because I don’t know if he will for sure want to get back to me.
