Thank you so much for your evaluation of the situation. I think that everything you said, I knew deep down inside all along. I just didn’t want it to be true.

I do see what you’re saying, and I don’t expect him to change, which means that he will be perpetually unhappy and in turn will make me unhappy. Also, someone who can’t support my parenting responsibilities won’t be a good partner for me as it’s important to me to be a good mother.
