Thanks for your reply. You are right. He seems interested but not enough to get to know each other more. He is different than any other guy I’ve ever met, and thinking back in my relationships, everything always happened way too fast, and I didn’t get the chance to get to know my ex partners until I was already completely involved. I married my first husband within 8 months of relationship, and after I divorced him, I was pregnant within 3 months. We ended up getting married, but obviously that didn’t work. I had 2 kids with him and we divorced 7 years later. I feel like I’m ok with taking it slow, but what others me is that he doesn’t make a move to at least have an open conversation about where he stands, future plans, or simply just saying he’s not ready for anything more serious. I guess I’d have to be ok with that and keep going with my life not expecting anything more than friendship.
