One more thing about the post above (I couldn’t figure out how to edit in the post itself):
I’m 47 and he’s 49. So we’re not in the same position as younger people might be. But I don’t really know what my expectations should be with dating at this stage of life. For him – I’m sure that career and family come first (he has 2 kids in their early 20s, one at home – he spends a lot of time with them and seems to be very protective of their privacy / I have t been invited into their lives yet). So maybe I need to back off and take things as they come, even though I want more?
