Hey Kanya, Me & her didn’t work out because she kept picking a fight with me about it & wouldn’t stop texting him. They knew each other for years so she kept at it. It’s true.
He didn’t know that I got him a gift until this past Saturday. I wanted it to be a surprise but then she got involved & he ghosted me for almost a month. He bought me 3 bottles of wine for my birthday & I wanted to surprise him with something.
Do I start off with the apology in the text first or just like, “Hey, it’s Kate, I’m checking to see if you’re ok.” That’s my problem, I don’t know how to begin a text conversation or keep a guy interested through texting. I know what you’re saying about rushing but he was VERY interested & bought me that for my birthday until she kept texting him on my behalf. She didn’t even apologize to me.
Also, how do I start the beginning of the text conversation? Like something that sounds motivating but yet keeps him interested if that makes sense? I struggle with beginnings & keeping their interests is why I never can keep a guy. It’s true. Yet, I do want him to give me another chance.
Would sending him one more apology remind him of the trauma though? I mean no offense. I’m scared to run him off again. I haven’t heard from him since late Saturday & I still have to give him his birthday gift too. I told him that I got him something but he didn’t say how he wanted me to give it to him. I wish he’d give me one more chance though. I’m sorry, I’m confused on what to say & am really hurt.
When I pologized on Facebook, I said, “I’m sorry Shelby spoke on my behalf. I didn’t ask her to. he was just trying to help me. She trusts more than others.” He never looked at that text though.
He sees my Facebook stories but doesn’t like them like he used to. He used to would try to text me but he stopped after that. We’re 27 & 25 years old. I did tell him it was her & that was when he backed away. She even went on her Facebook & kept texting him on my behalf there too.
She asked him what I did wrong. She asked, “Are you ever going to talk to Kate again?” He didn’t answer her. He told me he wanted to see me again until I told him about her going on my phone. I have texts from this past Saturday too but he sounded negative. I can’t send the screenshots unless it’s through email.
